| Objectives: | To familiarise the candidate with the safe selection, storage, mounting and use of abrasive wheels and cutting-off discs on portable and trolley mounted concrete saws and angle grinders in compliance with relevant legislation. | |
| Who should attend: | All personnel required to operate portable / trolley mounted concrete saws and angle grinders. | |
| Delegates per course: | Maximum 12 (group will be broken down into smaller teams for practical exercises) | |

Half day theory followed by practical exercises (Time depends on number of candidates and range of equipment to be included in practical exercises) |

| Certification: | On successful completion of this course, a CIT Certificate will be issued. We recommend refresher training after three years. |

| * The practical exercise will be pre-agreed with the client so as to simulate as closely as practicable, actual work situations. |
